Checking in

Let me just say, and please excuse my language, if you are going to take one (or both) of my children you'd better damn well answer my calls! My biggest fear is loosing them so when you don't answer my texts or phone calls I get anxious and start to worry. This is even more true when you repeatedly don't answer me... Especially I'd you are going a long distance or time I need those check-ins to happen. I understand people can't always get to their phone immediately. But when you are watching someone else's child be sure and call back as soon as you see the call/text.
For repeat offenders I will be forced to not allow this situation to have the possibility of arising again so that I won't have to worry about it. I do appreciate your willingness to watch them even while you are busy, but i cant emotionally deal with it right now. Thank you.

Doin Laundry

Erin likes to help me do laundry, among other chores. But laundry is her favorite (I'm pretty sure). She loves when I hold her in her Moby wrap and she gets to push the laundry cart around (I steer), and she gets to pull (with some help) and push the drawers open.
While not in the wrap she gets to help sort (before and after) and "fold".

and yes, they are clean.

On My Own

Today was my first day home with Erin without Chris. I didn’t realize how much I missed him being around. I survived fairly well. Erin finished her early morning feed and we both slept in the living room (her in her swing, and I on the couch). Then we had our mid-morning feed, and just in time Chris called and asked if we wanted anything to eat. Patty brought by food, and then Mom came by soon after to help take care of stuff. She stayed with me most of the day, which was nice. I was able to take a nap and whatnot. I’m more confident I could do stuff with Erin being the only other person in the house.
